In Diamata’s world, stability is a myth. For generations, an erratic orbital cycle has fractured the land and its people, leaving Diamata and her twin sister, Delphine, with a heavy birthright: they must find a way to stop the chaos before the next flux ends their civilization for good.

When they discover a portal in their Aunt Swan’s garden—a gateway to a parallel universe that mirrors their own but remains stable—Diamata sees their salvation. But the people of this other world are different; their minds are loud, broadcast like a toxic cloud of chatter and negativity.

In this stable reality, Caleb Millford is a man drowning in the noise of the modern "social age". Seeking a return to traditional values, he is the perfect ally for Diamata’s "Millford Project". Together, they begin to weave the two worlds together through astral projection and shared dreams. But as the Project grows, so do the secrets. With accusations of murder, whispers of "The Wraith," and a daughter named Candi searching for the truth about her mother’s death, the line between saving a people and colonizing a reality begins to blur.
