Join in the celebration of #RRBCAuthor @sharrislaughter, #RRBC's November "SPOTLIGHT" Author! #Author of #OurLadyOfVictory

Please welcome Shirley Harris-Slaughter today. She’s a great supporter of every RRBC Author and a wonderful person. About Our Lady of Victory (Second Edition) This is a second edition with updates on the state of this historic church. In the original publication, files were lost then resurfaced with content altered along with missing photos during transition from one publisher to another. Such is the fate of an Independent Author. This book evolved out of years of frustration at the total disregard and lack of respect for the contributions of Black Catholics in the city of Detroit. The author says, “We are not mentioned in the pages of history along with the other Catholic churches that sprung up during the World War II era, and that needed to be corrected.” The author did fulfill one dream since publication … that this church can now be found on the web even though it has merged with another church. It is now called Presentation-Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. About Shirley Harri

It's Day 5 of the #RRBC Spotlight Author Blog Tour for #Author, Harriet Hodgson @healthmn1! C'mon by! @RRBC_Org @RRBC_RWISA @Tweets4RWISA #RRBCSA #GriefDoodling

Today, I’m welcoming back Harriet Hodgson for the 5th day of her RRBC Spotlight Tour. What Can You Do When Book Sales Stall? By Harriet Hodgson Book marketing is a never-ending task. To track your efforts, you may want to keep a marketing log. Try to take one marketing step a day. Despite your best efforts, your book sales may stall. What can you do? Don’t give up. When seeing an ad or article and order your book, buyers may think they took immediate action. In truth, three or four weeks may pass before a buyer takes action. So you need to continue your book marketing efforts. Learn more about marketing. My current publisher has an authors’ portal on its website. Authors can click on the portal, enter the password, and find information on a broad range of topics. This information includes copyright information, wholesale pricing, and marketing ideas. Bring your book to consumers. The days of autographing books in a bookstore seem to be fading. Instead of having buyers c

DAY 1 Turn The Light On–Developing Alessio Terracina and Della Cartwright I started writing Turn The Light On in 2015. I wanted to capture the feeling of suspense and passion between a man who was rarely understood and an older woman that had a big compassionate heart. Two things were important to me when I started writing it: The woman had to be an African American, and that women of color be able to identify with her. Too often I have heard people speak negatively about the Strong Black Women Syndrome as if we were not women who can feel emotional pain or understand the essence of loving a man. The male character is an Italian American living in Europe. His job dangerous. His handicap, Asperger’s Syndrome. Highly intelligent, he comes out of an orphanage. It was hard to write. I put the story aside for months several times. It is not unusual for me to work on three or four stories at a time, so I would work on something else. Once, I let him tell who he was to a small group of author

Welcome to Day 3 of THE HAUNTED SHORES MYSTERIES BLOG TOUR FEATURING "SCARLET AT CRYSTAL RIVER" @OverbeckRandy @4WillsPub @4WP11

GIVEAWAY Check this out! You can win a $25 Amazon Gift Card & 1 e-book or paperback copy of one book in the Haunted Shores series (Winner’s choice). Simply leave a comment below for your chance to win! Why set a Christmas mystery in sunny Florida, of all places? This is one the first questions I’ve received from readers of my new ghost story/mystery, SCARLET AT CRYSTAL RIVER. That is, after they share how much they love the two kids, and the romantic honeymoon, and Luis, and the manatees And it’s a fair question. When you mention a Christmas mystery, images of snow-covered cabins and frosty mugs of hot cocoa spring to mind. Of feet stomping the frozen ground and breaths expelling a white cloud while questioning suspects. Not swimming in the warm surf or lounging on the porch in only a shirt. Before beginning the first draft of SCARLET AT CRYSTAL RIVER, I’d read quite a number of Christmas mysteries, from Agatha Christie’s Hercule Parole’s Christmas to Mary Higgins Clark’s The Chris

Welcome to Day 4 of Breakfield and Burkey's "SHORT STORIES" Blog Tour! @EnigmaSeries @4WillsPub @4WP11 @RRBC_Org #RRBC #4WillsPub

Please welcome back Breakfield and Burkey as they talk about some short stories. Giveaway (7) ebook copies of “HOT CHOCOLATE” Please leave the authors a comment anywhere along the tour for your chance to win one of these awesome prizes. Zara appears in several stories of the Enigma Series. We created her as a Darknet hacker and one of our original characters readers love to hate. Like our readers, we both loved and despised her choices. She kept reminding us that part of her complexity as a character evolved from her rough beginnings and ill-treatment by despicable men. Her survival methods made her hard and cynical—focused only on her payday and next mark. Buzz Buswald II is affectionately known as Buzz. He first appears in The Enigma Factor as Jacob Michael’s classmate from school. Buzz comes from wealth, well-educated, yet somewhat lazy. Along his journey, Buzz has made some bad choices with fortunate outcomes. Both characters received lots of comments from readers through more than

About Amilcar When the Carrington Collective calls Ezra Thompson to investigate an occurrence in Waldgrave, he and his son, Eli, are confronted with a Fallen Angel few knew existed. The past shows that Amilcar finds ones who yearn for something beyond their reach and provides them with everything they desire. The ones who succumbed to his charms received their wishes, while the sacrifices to Amilcar were not so lucky. Katrina, Heather, and Aletha are some who stood against Amilcar, fighting him to the end, but will Ezra and Eli come out the ot

Otherworldly Beings https://storyoriginapp.com/to/xS8UOlk #paranormal #horror #scifi book #sale

For the month of April, I’ve teamed up with some great authors in the Horror, Paranormal, and SciFi genres as part of a group promotion featuring Otherworldly beings (non-humans or former humans). Each of the participating authors is offering some of their books at a discounted price.  To check out all these books follow this link . From April 1-8, 2021, The Road to Saratin is on sale for 99cents. For those who haven’t read it, The Road to Saratin is my break away from Horror, entering the SciFi Dystopian genre. This book was a great change for me and I’m pondering if I will write another, though my next book returns to Horror. We’ll see. About The Road to Saratin Twenty-two years ago, voices started talking inside six-year-old Carl’s mind, causing him to be taken to the Freedom Institute for observation by a megalomaniac doctor until the voices tell Carl it’s time to leave. He begins his trek across an unwelcoming land to find his mom, finding many perils along the way and answers he

Welcome to the GHOSTLY INTERFERENCE 1 Day/5 Blog Tour! @JanSikes3 @4WillsPub @4WP11 @RRBC_Org @Tweets4RWISA #RRBC #RWISA

Giveaway – (2) e-book copies of GHOSTLY INTERFERENCE SEXUAL ADVANCES IN THE WORKPLACE Hello, and welcome to one of the final stops on my Ghostly Interference blog tour! I am honored to be here today. Sexual advances in the workplace is as common as a coffee pot in the break room. But we tend to think of them as being a man coming onto a woman. In Ghostly Interference, Jag Peters is forced to deal with unwanted sexual advances from his boss Yvette (Yvette Calleiro this in NO way reflects on you). 🙂 His boss continually tries to corner him and it finally escalates to a breaking point. I’ll share a short excerpt. Within minutes, he pulled into the crowded parking lot of the Glass Slipper. He’d make a few minutes of polite talk with his co-workers, then excuse himself. He liked the project Yvette had assigned him, and he wanted to stay there. But he had limits as to how far he’d go. Crowds freaked him out and made his underarms sweat. This place was packed. He squeezed through a group nea

Henry Scarle is one of the ghosts from Through the Nethergate, who allies himself with Margaret. He becomes her love interest during the story. Henry Scarle was employed by a wealthy businessman named Mathias Kerrison to look after ships transporting corn and other goods at Whitacre Burgh. Mathias Kerrison owned the Bungay Straithe navigation on the River Waverney. Henry noticed that some of the goods were being stolen and stood guard one night to see if he could identify the thieves. He identified two local men and reported them to his master. The thieves learned of his actions before they could be caught and detained and they boarded the ship where he was working and beat him to death. His body was left floating in the river. An extract from Through the Nethergate “Two burly men approached the wherry.

Susanne Leist @SusanneLeist - #RRBC Spotlight Author #RRBCSA

Today, I welcome Susanne Leist, the RRBC Spotlight Author for September 2020. HE HAS COME FOR ME – WRITTEN FOR PREY FOR THE DEAD (Note about the poem from Susanne Leist.) Poetry began as a way to promote my books. Now, it is one of my passions. This poem describes Wolf’s love for Linda, a vampire who loves a human. HE HAS COME FOR ME He has come for me. I’ll never be free. He comes at night, Fear at first sight. He claims his love, But he’s no dove. He’s evil as can be, Always searching for me. I must hide until morning, Or the town will be mourning. The devil hides his face. I know his deadly pace. His footsteps ring hollow. Steps quicken to follow. He sings a sweet song. I know I’m not wrong. The devil is right behind me, Even though his face, I can’t see. He has me in his grasp. I cry out with a gasp. He kisses me with passion. I know this is his fashion To take what is not his And make me into his. THE DEAD AT HEART William’s bite bonded Shana to him, but he didn’t ask her to mate
